This year, the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) organized a spin-off edition of its long-running International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA). IDEA/Brazil requested submissions of products and design concepts from around the vast South American nation. In all, 53 gold, silver, and bronze prizes were awarded to all forms of design, including medical equipment, jewelry, and footwear. Here is a look at the gold winners, the best of Brazil’s best.
